Talofa, my name is Lily!

I'm deeply passionate about my work, and it would be an honor to capture those 'live in the moment' shots for you all.

How was ‘Sierra Lens’ Inspired?

The word Sierra means mountain range or saw, and lens speaks to clarity and light. This matters to me because my story is one of being lifted from my lowest places. God met me there and brought me back to life mentally, physically, and spiritually.

Today I create with transparency, aiming to reflect His light through every image and the way I live. My work points back to the One who inspires it all.

Here’s a fun twist. My call sign at a previous job was 17S — S as in Sierra. That role is what first sparked my creativity. I was surrounded by people who were passionate about visual storytelling, and it lit something in me that hasn’t gone out since.

Sierra Lens is a name with meaning, faith, and a whole lot of inspiration behind it.

INSPIRATION

I draw inspiration from everything around me: people’s stories, my own experiences, film, music, culture and the small moments that are usually forgotten. Life moves fast, and it’s easy to miss the little things.

Through my lens, I want to highlight those quiet moments that often slip by, and show just how meaningful they really are!

I’m also inspired by other photographers, Pinterest, traveling, and the movies and shows I enjoy. Beautiful places and moments fuel my creativity and make me want to capture as much as I can

WHY ME?

Service

My main focus is to take care of you throughout your session. If you need guidance with posing, I’ll be right there helping you feel comfortable and confident. If things start to feel overwhelming in front of the camera, I’m someone you can lean on and talk to. I’m here for the big moments and the small ones too, even if that means helping find a pen while you’re signing your marriage certificate — true story.

At the core of what I do is service. My first priority is you, your experience, and making sure you feel supported every step of the way during your photoshoot.

Film-School Trained Visual Storyteller

I had the honor of attending Los Angeles Film School and was blessed to receive my Associates in Film Production.

Which means I approach photography with a deep understanding of composition, lighting, storytelling, and visual flow — not just technical camera skills.

Professional Production Experience

I’ve spent time working in a professional contracting role where my world revolved around cameras and editing. From tight deadlines to high expectations, I learned how to capture moments, shape them into stories, and deliver on time without sacrificing quality

Communication is KEY

I keep communication clear and simple, so you always know what’s happening, when your photos are coming, and what to expect! Even before our photoshoot I will be in contact with you about visual boards, outfits, locations and all the good stuff that needs to be communicated.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words—
but I believe it pieces together a thousand stories.
